Operating Instructions for the LaGard 3600 Electronic Safe LockFactory COMBO SET TO: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

The lock provides an audible signal as each digit is entered and signals twice on the sixth digit when the combination is entered correctly.

Enter each number SLOWLY and DISTINCTLY. If the combination is entered incorrectly more than (4) times, there is a Time Penalty, of four to six minutes during which the lock cannot be accessed

OPENING PROCEDURE - Note: A constant tone on opening indicates that the batteries need to be changed. (See "CHANGING BATTERIES")

1. Round Input Pad
Enter the six-digit combination. The lock will signal twice when it is ready to be opened.

CHANGING COMBINATION PROCEDURE
** Note: Before changing combination always- open safe first and leave the door open. Then move the handle to the locked position. If the handle moves to the position automatically when the door is closed, you must find the actuator that releases the handle. The actuator will either be on the face of the door, or on the inside of the door near the hinges. The combination can now be changed by Keying: Enter six (6) zeros. Enter the old combination. Enter a new six-digit combination Twice. After the correct combination is entered, the unit will signal twice.

IMPORTANT: If the new combination is entered incorrectly, the lock will return to the original combination.

CHANGING BATTERIES: A CONSTANT TONE on opening indicates that the battery is low and needs immediate replacement!!

Use only Duracell or Energizer 9-volt ALKALINE batteries

To avoid the four to six minutes power-up delay, remove old batteries and replace with new batteries one at a time.

Round Input pad - Slide the input pad housing up and carefully pull away from mounting surface to expose the battery compartment. Install two new batteries. Align housing over mounting screws, and slide down.
