Instructions for the LaGard 3600 Electronic Safe LockFactory
COMBO SET TO: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
The lock
provides an audible signal as each digit is entered and
signals twice on the sixth digit when the combination is
entered correctly.
Enter each number
SLOWLY and DISTINCTLY. If the combination is entered incorrectly
more than (4) times, there is a Time Penalty, of four to
six minutes during which the lock cannot be accessed
OPENING PROCEDURE
- Note: A constant tone on opening indicates that the batteries
need to be changed. (See "CHANGING BATTERIES")
1. Round Input
Pad
Enter the six-digit combination. The lock will signal twice
when it is ready to be opened.
CHANGING COMBINATION
PROCEDURE
** Note: Before changing combination always- open safe first
and leave the door open. Then move the handle to the locked
position. If the handle moves to the position automatically
when the door is closed, you must find the actuator that
releases the handle. The actuator will either be on the
face of the door, or on the inside of the door near the
hinges. The combination can now be changed by Keying: Enter
six (6) zeros. Enter the old combination. Enter a new six-digit
combination Twice. After the correct combination is entered,
the unit will signal twice.
IMPORTANT:
If the new combination is entered incorrectly, the lock
will return to the original combination.
CHANGING
BATTERIES: A CONSTANT TONE on opening indicates that the
battery is low and needs immediate replacement!!
Use only
Duracell or Energizer 9-volt ALKALINE batteries
To avoid the four to six minutes power-up delay, remove
old batteries and replace with new batteries one at a time.
Round Input
pad - Slide the input pad housing up and carefully pull
away from mounting surface to expose the battery compartment.
Install two new batteries. Align housing over mounting screws,
and slide down.
